EMSC Day 2025: Federal Programs & Projects Supporting Pediatric Care

Are you confident that your EMS agency is ready for pediatric patients? This special EMS Week, EMS for Children Day session of the EMS Focus webinar series to discuss resources and interventions to ensure your agency is prepared to provide the best possible care for pediatric patients.  

Speakers will address:

  • Pediatric Prehospital Blood Transfusion: Learn more about the research around prehospital blood transfusion for children and how one Colorado fire-rescue agency is delivering blood to young patients in the field. 

  • Training Tools & Research Are Key for Great Pediatric Care: What tools do you use to prepare for the less than 10% of calls that involve pediatric patients? Learn more about the National Prehospital Pediatric Readiness Project (PPRP) and what a Basic Life Support (BLS) EMS volunteer agency in New Jersey has been able to do with limited resources to greatly improve their pediatric care.
