EMS Week 2025
We Care. For Everyone.
NHTSA’s Office of EMS (OEMS) proudly supports our nation’s EMS clinicians and recognizes their dedication to life-saving work on our nation’s roadways and throughout our communities. This EMS Week, we honor the entire EMS profession for protecting our health and safety.
The theme, We Care. For Everyone, speaks to the commitment of EMS, serving whenever and wherever they’re needed. This year, the first responder community is shining a light on the importance of prehospital blood transfusion with the 2025 EMS Week Blood Drive. Prehospital blood transfusion saves lives and improves outcomes for patients with severe bleeding. Please consider participating in a blood drive in your community and getting the word out about this crucial effort.
Thank you to the hundreds of thousands of EMS clinicians across the country. We celebrate you.
