NHTSA Advances Ground Ambulance Safety by Tracking and Investigating Crashes
The National Highway Traffic Administration’s (NHTSA) mission is to keep everyone safe on America’s roadways – including patients in the ambulance, the crews riding with them and the general public. Toward that goal, NHTSA has carefully examined 20 years of ambulance crash data and the results of detailed investigations of individual incidents.
EMS Compass Kicks Off Effort to Design a System of Performance Measurement
The two-year cooperative agreement between the National Association of State Emergency Medical Services Officials (NASEMSO) and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to develop a system to design and use performance measures is underway.

National 911 Program Releases 2014 System Statistics Report
