EMSC Announces Two New Grant Opportunities
The Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMSC) Program, part of The Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) Health Resources and Services Administration, is pleased to announce the following grant opportunities:
- Targeted Issue Grant Competition. Targeted Issue Demonstration Grants are intended to meet HRSA/MCHB priorities of improving the health infrastructure and systems of care as well as assuring quality of care. Funding is $250,000 per year in total costs for a period of three years. The due date for application is March 17, 2008. - EMS for Children: Network Development Demonstration Project (NDDP). Applications for four grants will be accepted to form the infrastructure for the Pediatric Emergency Care Applied Research Network (PECARN). For more information about PECARN, visit www.pecarn.org. Funding for NDDP grants is anticipated at $860,000 total costs per year for a period of three years. The due date for application is March 21, 2008.
