Drew Dawson Honored for Outstanding Contributions to EMS

Drew Dawson, director of the Office of EMS at NHTSA, is the 2008 winner of the American College of Physicians (ACEP) EMS Award. The award recognizes a single individual each year for outstanding contributions of significance or application to Emergency Medical Services. Mr. Dawson was presented the EMS Award during the ACEP 40th anniversary celebration held at its October 27 – 30 Scientific Forum in Chicago. On Wednesday, October 29, Mr. Dawson joined other 2008 ACEP Leadership and Excellence Award Winners for the official presentation ceremony at the organization’s annual President’s Dinner.
